Thanks, Alex. You are so considerate
Speaking of Australian artists, do you know Xavier Rudd? I'd say he sounds like Paul Simon and Ben Harper. Apparently. his also very involved with aboriginal rights in Australia.

Thanks Alex
I was lucky enough to see him here fairly recently, and he was brilliant. He used to be in a popular band called Yothu Yindi, which blended (very) ancient aboriginal music with rock; and has also worked with Peter Garrett (from Midnight Oil, and now a full-time politician) and Paul Kelly.

I have been listening a lot to Andrew Bird the last half year
is really a great album, as is his last one, 'Armchair Apocrypha'
the artwork is always great too - I'll post some custom images soon.
Here is the track 'Sovay' from Mysterious Production of Eggs:

I can't stop myself from listen and listen this album and as I'm usual with the records I love I ordered it in my favourite cd shop (I need to touch the support and smell the booklet! ). I love his voice and the way he plays guitar (I read he's left handed and born blind, so he learned a unique technique of playing) and last but not least antony is one of his top friend on myspace! |

A new version from Hymne á L'Amour, plus an Edith Piaf cover: Adieu mon coeur and a brillant Weill song: Youkali: Tango Habanera.
All 3 new songs plus a Roy Orbison Cover here.
It's available only through i-tunes, so it's no shame to upload it I find. Couldn't resist to buy it though (I hate the i-tunes shop!!), but the songs are great! |

... you'll have to go anyway, Elise!
Just came back from Amsterdam with a terrible cold as well, made it a bit hard to enjoy the whole thing. |
